I’ve been writing fiction and poetry all of my life, beginning with an illustrated book called My Friend Robin, written in grade two, followed by an enormous amount of angst-y teenage poetry.
My favourite outdoor thing is (of course) beach-combing; my favourite indoor thing is (of course) making maps; and my favourite animal is (of course) my dog Redwood, who is getting old now but was born perfect.
I have made my home in rural Nova Scotia for most of my adult life and can’t imagine living anywhere else ever again.
I am currently at work on a new novel, Reason.
